AS of today June 7, 2020, Quickbooks POS v 18 will not run on the latest Microsoft Surface Pro X with the Q1 Processor. After 2 weeks troubleshooting a POS on a Surface X could not get the POS engage properly. Returned the Surface Pro X to the store and got a replacement. Did this just to discard problem with my Surface Pro X unit.  But second unit showed the same issue.  The application fails to run a Make Sales function and returns a Get Stuck message. Finally, returned the machine and replace it with a Surface Pro 7.
